@Chris47120 The NS 1310 locomotive is a Dutch electric locomotive from the NS Class 1300, built between 1952 and 1956 by Werkspoor and Allan Rotterdam. These locomotives were part of the post-war modernization of the Dutch railways.

Era: The dark blue livery was used during the early period of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), particularly in the 1950s and 1960s, before the switch to the famous yellow and blue „yellow drivers“ scheme in the late 1960s.

Design & Power: The Class 1300 was designed for both passenger and freight services, with a power output of 2,300 kW and a top speed of 140 km/h.

Historical Significance: These locomotives were among the first modern electric locomotives in the Netherlands, operating on the newly electrified lines.

Retirement: Most were phased out in the 1980s, though a few remained in service for special or freight duties.

The dark blue livery represents the early NS corporate colors before the shift to yellow. Some preserved Class 1300 locomotives can still be seen in museums or heritage railways today!

@Oscar Very interesting about the loco. I think modelling the era when railways switched from steam to electric and diesel is an interesting one. It gives lots of opportunities running a mix of eras together.
