Has anyone else used an alternative to cork underlay? I used nitrile rubber material (3mm thick) but I was using 15cm square offcuts and cutting out shapes was a nightmare. It was free (saving waste from being binned) but very hard to work with. As the results aren’t visible I am relieved to say it worked, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I would be interested to see if anyone else has tried to save money and use an alternative material?
