I want to represent the passage of time. It will receive a &#8216;PC&#8217; on the nose and a PC road number, minimum markings for an aging locomotive. This is for my PC Mail Train.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some 14 or 15 years ago, I made my first attempt at a big new scary project: to weather one of my beloved and still very new Bachmann Class 37s.  I picked the EWS version as my previous BR large logo 37410 just looked too good to do.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>AT&amp;SF box car weathered for 1970 layout (30 yrs. on the rails).  Used acrylics &amp; powders.  The roof was painted silver with subsequent layering of raw &amp; burnt sienna to get a three-dimensional effect.  The car was cheap ($5) so I experimented a lot with this one.  </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here&#8217;s my first go at weathering a set of open hoppers.  I think they turned out okay&#8230;but I definitely have a long way to go toward making it look more realistic.</p>
<p>I did a base coat of translucent white to give the black finish a faded look.  I used a variety of different methods next, but mostly stuck to streaking the sides with acrylic and&hellip;</p>
