Third Corridors
A large chunk of any passenger train formation is composed of third/second/standard class and these are the third corridors (TK) for my early 1950s Flying Scotsman formation. There are two diagram 329s special versions built for The Flying Scotsman service with fairings over the solebars and monsoon vents. They are flanking a diagram 349 third corridor with ladies retiring room, made from a modified Comet Models kit. I’m amazed with myself for getting a teak effect on the kit built carriage. Note the mother and baby making use of the retiring room.
Up next the final part of the formation, the Aberdeen Portion.
