There’s nothing like working in a model train store that is situated right next to the CN mainline! I get model trains and real trains all day!

Do you live in Canada or are you near one of their US lines? One of their lines goes down through Western Pennsylvania and I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time one Saturday night to see a long CN Freight headed south!

@US_Z_Scale Yes, I live in the Toronto area (Oshawa to be specific). The store I work at is in Markham Ontario, and is right next to the mainline going East/West. It’s also the yard lead for the Toronto CN McMillan Yard. Mostly freight, but the occasional VIA Rail passenger train when they need to divert. We average 1 freight per hour Monday to Friday. Saturday can be a bit busier.

@Andrew Very nice! Once and awhile on my way to work I see the Amtrak coming through in the early hours before the dawn. I mostly see Norfolk Southern and a smaller local line called AVR/Carload Express pulling freight trains.
