The big splatter on 3168 was an accident lol (panel liner was still wet when I hit it with the airbrush). The graffiti is a mix of Blair Line and MicroScale decals</p>

The only thing that might be difficult to model with this technique is glassy, still water. I think it probably is possible but I haven&#8217;t tried it for myself so I can&#8217;t say for sure. </p>

Spray paint will melt foam and an oil based paint will make your life a nightmare with anything you try to glue to it. For painting foam you can just use cheap craft paint to save some money. Latex paint should also be fine but obviously don&#8217;t use anything with gloss. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I would go with any dark earthy color; black, dark green, very dark brown, etc, I think any of those would work best. Personally I would avoid any &#8220;mud&#8221; colors only because I personally think they stand out too much. Using a dark earth color helps keep any bald spots from becoming too obvious. </p>

I really love the weathering on this run, from the graffiti to the faded yellow, they fit right in on my urban switching layout. My only complaint is that this run seems to be significantly more underweight than previous weathered boxcars I’ve bought from MTL. </p>
