Conrail Ex-Reading GP40-2!
A couple days ago (Saturday) I went to the New York Hamburg train show, and picked this up for 95$! It has DCC, but no sound. It’s an Athearn Ready to Roll model. Runs pretty good, and it’s slow speed is amazing. It’s been weathered and patched by someone (It was being sold by a friend) I also picked up 2 RTR SD50s in B&O Chessie, which both sound amazing. (One is missing a couple parts, but I’m gonna order them later)

Looks great. I really like those early Conrail models. I think Athearn recently did an ex Erie Lackwanna RS-3 with the CR on it.

It is amazing the motor control offered with DCC (sound or not). Models run so much better vs. straight DC
