So extending the track beyond the case was the only alternative. I could easily make a continuous layout with it. However, not all of the track and supports would then fit inside. But certainly possible with a slightly larger case. </p>

The layout was donated to the museum &#8211; without any trains included. It was a DC layout with everything operated manually. We&#8217;re converting it to a fully automated DCC layout. Been working on it now for over 2 years. Still a long way to go. </p>
