Hey Jimmy, thanks for mentioning this site. Had a major heart issue, told to slow it down and relax, so returning to the hobby after 40 years.
Working from home, and have very little room for a layout – it will be part of my work desk.
N, Kato track, point to point operation, but with full loop with passing line for ‘entertaining’ / background.
Short rolling stock. Trams and mining / lake / canal. DCC=EX, with IO extenders. Automation / signals / blocks etc.
Layout table tested, foam and structural piers glued tomorrow. All wiring on or above the baseboard, with channel tubes back to the central control system.
