A retired model railway enthusiast who had his first Tri-ang railway set at Christmas 1953.

Ever since then it has been and on off relationship with the hobby around employment, family and survival.

I used to enjoy traveling to steam train events and locations but now relive the events on YouTube.

I have built, or created many layouts over the years but since downsizing my property and retiring have had more time to build, what will be the last, layout in my garage which has been ongoing for 12 years, and may never be finished, as you always want to improve or make changes.

Over the past few months I have started to reduce my collection of locomotives and rolling stock.
