Had an entirely enjoyable day operating on Dave Barraza’s New York and Atlantic RR. (The frieght component of the LIRR) Here are the station throats at Jamaica Queens and a high speed crossover. We ran from noon to 5 following the Jan 30th 2011 timetable. I ran two passenger for the morning rush Huntington to LI City and back then a freight local.

Looks huge!🤯

@Modeltrainmedia Yes. Three decks high and two big lobes. Covers most branches of the LIRR. The passenger service is fun but the freight trains dodging them is a blast. Two dispatchers represent Jay and Divide Towers. I have operated with 16 people at once on this one. A lot of fun.

@Este-Pandy-Projects Sound fun, that is how it should be, sharing the hobby with other people 🤩 Maybe you can also invite them to the platform, or you can start your own social group with you railway club to share all your content there!

I was so busy operating I did not get many pictures or video. Here is a little bit of some of the other trains running these were mostly trains we were waiting to pass us while we waited in a siding. https://youtube.com/shorts/ZgBQam63zdk?si=ZSJ0A-vazigzySCp

I almost got to see this when I was in New York this year but was ill on the day I was due to go and see Dave. I was truly gutted. Dave was lovely about it and I have a raincheck for when I am next in town.
