Enjoyed visiting the Dayton Train Show yesterday. Favorite layout was the UFO touching down in the middle of town surrounded by tanks!
Also, there were some nice Lego layouts!

Nice it is really becoming more popular the lego train sets right?

@Modeltrainmedia it is–I’m not sure how much of a fan I am (seems like a way to sell more expensive LEGO sets 💰💰💰), but I imagine it helps lower the barrier to entry for modeling as a whole. In standard modeling, you might wonder whether to buy a building kit or model something out of styrene, and have no idea how to do that. But with LEGO, you already know how to model everything else, they’ve really just figured out the train piece for you. So I can understand how that might appeal especially to kids getting started in the hobby

I enjoy going to train shows to see the hard work of the modelers. Including the innovations and unique features if the layouts. Even the humorous parts that they model. You can get a lot of great ideas there.
