Haven’t had a chance to post for a bit but now that I have time, check out this drafting chair/stool my fiancée got me for Christmas! This is definitely going to make operations a lot more comfortable:)

I too have a similar chair, it makes it easier for me as I have some mobility issues. However I know from friends at ops sessions, when your enjoying yourself time has a tendency to run away, you find you have been standing for hours. You may find a need for more chairs.

That’s a nice Engineer’s seat! My train room is carpeted so I have multiple chairs in there for different work stations. My new Z Scale layout is about the same height as a bar so I have a couple higher chairs for that. Gotta be comfortable in the train rooms!

@US_Z_Scale Thanks! I’d like some carpeting in the layout room but haven’t found one that will work yet. Definitely have to be comfortable!

@Guilford_Railman I like the carpeting because if something does fall off the layout it’s not gonna instantly shatter! It’s semi thick carpet and when it comes to Z Scale you definitely need that. My new layout is like standard bar height.
