River Rock Work

Started the rock work for the river bed. This is far from the finished product:) I usually apply portions of plaster in various spots and carve away at it until I’ve achieved results that I like. After it dries, I go back with a hobby knife and carve finer details into the rock work.
The concept of this is the transition between a man-made canal system and natural riverbed. To the right and adjacent to the bridge, i’ll have drainage pipes that allow runoff into the canal.
