Agreed!! I primarily model NE Pennsylvania, 1968-1976 pre-Conrail. I love watching videos and seeing still photos from those times. Such great modeling reference material!!! It’s interesting to see roofwalks, no roofwalks, 50’s era wooden reefers, gondolas and boxcars mixed in with newer Railbox and fresh new paint schemes. Colorful or shiny passenger trains like the GN’s Big Sky Blue scheme, Santa Fe’s Super Chief, the Zephyrs and then Amtrak’s Rainbow Era in 1971!! To me, it’s the best time to model!
