Hi everyone – I’m Dawn – of Model Railway Quest.
it’s really lovely to see new members in the group. As Model Train Media is a new platform, I’m still trying to get my bearings so thanks to everyone for posting so far.
As an intro – I’ve been involved in model railways for around 3 years and have two exhibition layouts: Brief Encounter Monochrome and The Ladykillers (spot the movie theme). I’m always asked what my third will be – there are a few contenders, but will probably start work on the next one in 2026.
The scenery is what brought me to model railways in the first place – more so than the locos (which I’ve gained a real appreciation for over the past year or so).
It would be great to hear all about your projects and layouts – so please introduce yourself in the comments and post photos/progress.
