In this video, I’m excited to share the track plan for my brand new ‘O’ gauge model railway layout! I’ll walk you through the design and explain the key elements I’ve included to capture the look and feel of a classic British steam shed scene.

The plan features: A fully working turntable, a massive coal plant, an ash plant for servicing…

I am really looking forward to the arrival of the ‘O’ gauge Pug locomotives from Ellis Clark Trains in 2026. The ‘OO’ gauge ones look good too.

The ‘O’ gauge version comes with ash pan glow and an ultra-realistic firebox flicker too, far better than any other produced before. Having been able to test the tooled sample myself, I can’t wait to…

Here is my latest video – the very beginnings of my new ‘O’ gauge layout, all based on Bolton 9K MPD.

Join me as I embark on the very start of my new ‘O’ gauge layout. In this new video I assemble the fantastic baseboards from Grainge & Hodder. The baseboards are easy to build and very rigid, no screwing or nails required at all! Just some glue…
