Got my first train for Christmas in the mid-fifties- the 685 Hudson with all the trimmings. A couple years later I received the 205 diesel. Played with them into the 60’s and then they were put away.

Got them out when I had children of my own in the early 80’s then they were put away again.

When my grandchildren were born they were taken out again. Now it has become a hobby to get old trains and refurbish them so others can enjoy Lionel trains as much as I have.

I have rebuilt, repaired and modified over 250 locomotives and many cars and accessories since I retired seven years ago.
