What do you expect from us, I can tell I am now spending more money on ads to gain new users. In a couple of weeks I am also going to start a new serie of content!
Together we can build this platform I am curious to see what you will come up with!

You are between a rock and a hard place. The site needs more content to make people come back and be engaged, but for that you need more users who will in turn create more content. I would be reluctant to spend more on marketing, but look at other ways of trying to get people to the site. Maybe those of us here need to be more proactive in trying to bring others across as well?

You are seeing it right indeed however I am trying my best to slowly get there I am hoping to get there with a mix of content, marketing and new members that are coming because of members who invite other members.
I am also going to post a lot more on my instagram and facebook and I thought that getting my face out there on my socials can also help to get way more people interested. Instead of being an anonymous account.
So I am thinking hard and already making steps to improve!

I agree with Chris, however want to add an additional factor. A lot of communities exist on Facebook where people already are. You’re battling attracting people off a platform where they can have all of their model rail communities as well as their gardening and cooking communities, and trying to attract them to a dedicated platform. It needs a considerable selling factor to be attractive.
I support this initiative as it’s a step back to the old, the times before absolutely everything got consolidated to three or four platforms out of convenience. Because while it’s convenient to have everything in one place, it’s also a draw back as things just get lost in the sea of content. At least here, I know I’m getting model railway content.

@ScottyB I get what you are saying indeed, that is why I am also working to provide some strong unique selling points. Stuff like that on this platform people can choose their own feed by category and it is also the benefit that on this platform you can enjoy the hobby, find connections on a platform without any ads or distractions. And my goal is to keep it like that. We dont want ads running trough the feed.
So it is also the benefit that on this platform you dont see 3 cooking video’s 3 animal video’s and then train content it is really for the hobbyist who wants to share their hobby.
And also I am planning to build a great app that to improve the user experience on this platform on mobile. But for now that is to expensive but around 10k users I can implement the app and then it can boost new users and improve the user experience on mobile.
So it will take some time but we will get there!
