      Exciting Things Have Been Happening

      I’ve been puttering along with my layout construction. I started laying track last week, and yesterday, I was able to do the first switching ops as a way to test the crossover between the mainlines which had been laid earlier in the day.

      I’m actually surprised it went so smoothly. There aren’t any ground throw to hold the points in place yet, so I was expecting a car to pick the points and derail. Also, only one feeder is being powered so I was surprised it worked so well electrically.
