I’ve been slowly working on this iconic Montreal scene: the Owens Illinois (OI) glass factory in Pointe-Saint-Charles Montreal. It’s visible when you arrive in Montreal on the Champlain bridge and is a great modern example of a rail-fed industry in an urban setting.

My rendition of the P&H Milling Group elevator in Montreal. I started the project in 2022, taking photos of the site for inspiration. Unfortunately the building is now torn down, with only the concrete elevators remaining. They are covered in graffiti now. I’m happy with the way my graffiti turned out but I still want to do more weathering.

Hello world (life-sized and otherwise)! I saw Lucy Dormont’s post and decided to join. I model the Pointe-Saint-Charles area and CN Montreal subdivision in N scale. It’s a work in progress. Looking forward to seeing other similar projects and finding inspiration on here!
