After trying to close the bridge multiple times without unlocking it, I thought a warning was in order. It will always be up and locked when the layout is not in use.

I completely forgot to share on here – my entire layout is now on its legs! Ready to operate? Goodness no – there’s a lot of track repair that needs to be done before I get the wiring back on. But just to have it this far is an amazing feeling.
Ignore the chaos and clutter. It’s an active work zone.

Fourth section of the layout is up, and I think I have the plan for all the others going forward. It’s all coming together now!

Two more sections are up. They’re not connected yet, and I’m not redoing the wiring until I get all sections connected. But it’s satisfying to see it starting to come together and put a couple of cars on. Chief Engineer Lane Tyson-Rales sure has his work cut out for him.
