With a little theater of the mind, we can imagine this scene taking place in the real world.
Southern Pacific MT-4 4-8-2 Mountain Type 4363 exists a tunnel on a test run after restoration with a short train consisting of a former RPO acting as a tool car, a box car, a wood chip hopper and a bay window caboose for a test consist.
The 4363 is an Athearn Genesis model equipped with Tsunami 2 DCC and sound. The remaining cars were built by Walthers, Athearn, Exact Rail, and Intermountain respectively.
This video was filmed on the TVMRi Layout earlier this summer when the 4363 arrived.0:13
