Train Conductor
Hopefully someone can help me out with this.
Earlier this year I picked up a Bachmann 8750 Class Pannier tank engine, BR 9600. It’s a great little engine, but it has yet to turn a wheel under my ownership as it does not have DCC.
There isn’t really any good information in the box to show what type of decoder is needed, so I am asking those on here what you think would work good as a simple “plug n play” decoder so I can get this engine up and running.
I will be using it on an American Digitrax system, if that helps any.

I have this model fitted with a 8 pin decoder

I have always found digitrains a very helpful supplier of decoders. If you give them the specifics of your loco, including what, if any decoder socket is installed, they are very good at recommending a cost effective decoder to fit. I have used them a couple of times and will use them again. Hope that helps.
