Train Conductor
VIA Rail train number 1, the Canadian, with a colorful quartet of F40PH-2D’s for power. These were taken last year at the TVMRi club’s open house on Founders Day Weekend at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.
When I started modeling Canadian railways it was a goal of mine to have this impressive cross country train in my fleet.Three of the four F40’s are from Rapido while the 6400, in the modern Renaissance paint scheme, is a Walthers Mainline unit.
The passenger cars are mostly Walthers Mainline, the only exception is the “Sibley Park” sleeper/dome/ observation car on the end of the train. This is a long out of production model from Rapido that costed me a pretty penny to acquire, worth it though!
