      I’m relatively new to modeling, but I’ve been an analog electronics hobbyist for years. So when it came time to do lighting for my layout, I just sort of just did my own thing with a custom built analog controller separate from the track power/train control. I’m curious, though…what does everyone else use for their lighting systems, and what do you like/dislike about it?

        I use a 12v computer power supply for all my layout lighting

          @RobsTrains Do you use LEDs or bulbs off of the 12v? If LEDs, do you just use standard resistors to control the brightness?

            @Ben_Fehr Hi Ben I use LED’s but I don’t use resistors. I use a voltage reducer I purchased from Al-express.

              Interesting! I’ve never heard of voltage reducers being used in that way. Do you run them 1 per LED or does one control the brightness of multiple LEDs?
