Here are some more images of my partly elevated New york city transit model,first we have a section where the twin tracks plunge into a tunnel,i was unsure how to achieve this section,but decided to model a concrete portal,with a factory building built above it.I still have the 3rd rail to add to this.

Most of my inspiration comes from old images of the IRT third avenue elevated which ran north of 149th street until 1973 when it was closed and later demolished.
