Hello everyone. I am a voulenteer and an employed engineer at a UK herratige railway. I’ve been a lover of steam locomotives since as long as I could remember. I’ve been modelling since a young age playing with 00 gauge locomotives and building airfix kits. After a bit of time working on other things I have recently been building a model railway again in 00, using what I had left from my previous layout. My main interest is UK locomotives more specifically the GWR region. Though I do love the GWR I still like the look of other regions and locomotives over the world. I plan my model railway to be a GWR branchline set in WW2. I can’t wait to use this platform for inspiration and tips for my railway.

It was only recently I have been posting what I do as a voulenteer on my Instagram page also called ‘Rivets.And.Steam’. I have mainly posted life size railway stuff on but I plan to post some modelling content aswell.
