I’m building a fictional railroad in Southeastern Missouri called the St. Louis, Leadville, and Rosetta Railroad, with a layout set during the Great Depression. My interests are small steam locomotives, mixed trains, switching in yards, and railroad-wide operations. I do a bit of 3D printing and design, and love building the perfect scenescape.

In the big (1:1 scale) world, I work in rail transportation as an inspector and mechanic. I love my job! I used to work in steam railroading, too, and miss that world. Other interests are philosophy, history, theology, watching the sun rise and set, my rapidly-proliferating houseplant collection, and watching my cats battle for who is the supreme cat.
