Mocking up my layout
This is my first layout, so I’m planning to use a track set, rather than working it all out for myself. It’s the Rokuhan R095 set, which will give me an oval viaduct to build around. Yesterday, I decided to mock it up, so I can have an idea roughly where to put everything.
It’s not exact, but I used a picture of the track diagram from the box, roughly copied the track sections, and cut them out on my Cricut. Then I glued them to card, and used wooden blocks for the piers.
Nothing’s getting glued in place until I have the real thing, but this will let me work out what goes where.
If anyone has a cutting machine, and plans to use the same track, drop me a line, and I’ll send the SVG files to you.
