I am a student currently working on a custom HO scale model railroad, gaining knowledge and experience as I go. I started the project in 2025 while studying on the island Terschelling, The Netherlands. Thus the 2×1 meter layout has been called “Tersodal” (“Terso” coming from Terschelling and “dal” being the Dutch translation of valley). I am not going for a specific era or country; at the moment I have a few Dutch locomotives, as well as some German BR series and a British locomotive. As I have loved model trains all my life, but am a beginner in the sense of building my first high quality layout.
