Hello everyone, my name is Matt, also known as The Modelling Novice. I have recently rediscovered my love of Railways from my youth. I have been documenting my progress as a complete beginner as I build my first layout. I had no prior modelling or craft experience before embarking upon this challenge, so I am learning as I go, and showing as much as I remember to film, warts and all.

I currently model in OO gauge.
