Hello everybody, my name is Steve and I have been a railway/railroad modeller for more years than I care to remember. Whilst I live in the UK, I have a passion for North American railroads and that is what I primarily model.

My layout is called Brooklyn Park and is a fictional yard set somewhere along the Bay Ridge branch of the New York and Atlantic Railroad in Brooklyn, New York. It is HO scale and sits in the corner of my office, firmly bolted to the wall. Set between 2005 and today, it is a switching (shunting for my UK friends) layout with 6 turnouts, way too many! It is DCC and can be operated via WiFi on my phone.

I am currently planning a small exhibition layout, set in present day LA. I am just starting this process so watch this space.
