Hello! I’m rob and I’ve been in the hobby since high school. I grew up living on the Burlington northern main line (aka the racetrack) in a Chicago suburb and have loved trains since I was little. I currently model in ho but I do love all scales. Currently I’m working on a 2×6 ho scale switching layout. It’s a fictional town at the end of a fictional branch owned and operated by the Burlington northern set in the mid 70s. It will also be set in the 50s and operated by the northern Pacific. Buildings on it will be old enough to have existed in both decades so all I have to do is swap vehicles and rolling stock. This will be my first completed layout. Most of my modeling experience comes from the various clubs I used to be a member of and two that I’m currently a member of. I don’t really model one particular railroad as I have a lot of interests.
