New Switcher
I received this BLI NYO&W NW2 switcher as a late Christmas gift from my brother. The NYO&W abandon operations in 1957, so now I have backdate a little bit and ‘build’ a train for it to pull and switch. Our father was a huge O&W fan. I’m thinking a simple local. Finding a caboose is going to be a challenge as Atlas is the only company to produce an NYO&W caboose, a C&O-style steel caboose, but is not correct. The O&W only had wooden cupola cabooses as far as I can tell.

I’m guessing you already thought about getting the right caboose and repainting it

@casey-jones The ‘right caboose’ doesn’t exist in N-Scale, so anything correct would have to be kitbashed or scratch built. I’ll find something that will work eventually.
