      Welcome to the home of the Tuolumne & South Fory Railway. Back in July I finally completed a long term bucket list goal: converting a brass Ma & Pa 2-8-0 to piston valves and Walchearts valve gear using Precision Scale Co. parts intended for the MDC/Roundhouse 0-6-0.

      Boy howdy did it come out slick. About 16 hours work to convert the engine. Zero modifications to the original model, all parts were modified or adapted to fit the stock model. A handful of photos from the process and the completed model is shown below.
