This is my work-in-progress N scale micro layout for an as-of-yet unnamed railroad. The minimum radius is a tight 6″, which means only the smallest locomotives and shortest rolling stock can handle the curves and work the line. Despite the diminutive 16″x32″ board, the layout has five unique destinations for cargo at three facilities, and an interchange track that can allow for connections in the future.
It’s set vaguely in the early 20th century in the US, probably out in California or someplace with reddish soil and lots of pines. I’ll be running 40′ and 36′ box cars behind 0-4-0T switchers and the occasional mogul. For now, it’ll be DC, but in the future might be converted to DCC as my fleet of converted, assuming I can find an inexpensive DCC system to go with it.

Love the small size layout! Looking forward to seeing more progress on your layout. Also are you running DC or DCC?

@Benjamintrains currently it’s DC, but once my fleet is more DCC I’ll convert it over to something like DCC++.
