Railway engineer
This was the basis of my layout Rosesu. The inspiration came from Rothes, a town in Moray, Scotland. The station trackplan featured yard space for general freight, which included coal, livestock and distillery traffic. As my stock is 95% Japanese, it was easy to utilise the trackplan and reimagine a change in scenery and location. The freight traffic remained the same and operationally made for interesting movements.
I didn’t fully complete it and it was dismantled for a house move in 2022.
