While ‘Red Rolt’ is under construction, here’s no.5 Midlander!
I completed this in early 2024, here is some photos of the model alongside Its donor model.
Again, a lot of dremeling was done to get the chassis to fit, the windows to open up and the cab door to be the size it is on the real thing (pre-rebuild). Again, using my usual modelling techniques of making parts from scratch with whatever I can find.
It runs on a Kato loco chassis (I can’t remember which one), and has edged name/number plates from Light Railway stores.
