Hi everyone! Any other New England modelers? I grew up with Guilford and then Pan Am, and picked up some models over the years after moving away from Massachusetts. It was a great way to remind me of home while in the midwest.

A fine looking model for sure. If memory serves me right, this unit was built for the Santa Fe.

@ravenhawk6910 it was! Originally built as ATSF 5712 as an SD45-2, it was one a of handful of SD45 car bodies that came to New England from the Trona Railway among the many other roads that rostered them. Sad to say they’re all retired now, Pan Am was their final road

Always liked the Pan Am, But they didn’t really come down to NYC. Would have loved to see it in person.
