Cool, how hard was it to do? I have so many questions. What kind of batteries did you use? And what is the battery life? How do you control the loco?

@casey-jones This locomotive was simple to convert, just replaced track pick-up with battery leads that come out the back of the locomotive and connect to the receiver and battery which are in a trailing wagon. We are using power tool batteries. Dad uses Bosch power tools, while I use Makita power tools. These are 18volt batteries. Any power tool batteries will do the job. I will have to get photo of the controller next time I am at dad’s place.
