Hi everyone,
Starting today and running until next Sunday, I thought it would be fun to launch something special: I’m sharing a photo of my own layout — and I’d love to see yours too! 🙌
👉 Post a picture of your layout here in the comments or on your profile anytime this week.
👉 Big or small, finished or still in progress — every layout has something inspiring to share.
👉 Let’s collect ideas, tips, and inspiration from each other and celebrate the creativity in our community.I can’t wait to see what you’re all working on. Let’s make this week full of trains, creativity, and inspiration!

There are still 6 more sections to put back up, and then I still have to reattach and wire them. But progress is progress.

The layout in its current state. Still settling into the new house after moving in a few months ago. Finally just getting things setup once again 🙂

@ApproachMedium Looks great and a lot of detail for such a small space!

A few photos of my HO scale American display layout. These photos were taken at the Cromwell Model Train Show back in March this year. I will be displaying it again next weekend at the Christchurch Model Train Show

@RobsTrains Looks like a pretty large layout right?

@Modeltrainmedia The layout is in six modules and is 3.2 metres long by 1.8 metres wide. It was built by myself with my wife helping with scenery.

@Pennsylvania_421 Looks like a large project/layout so a lot to share when you are starting. I am curious to see how it will turn out!

@Modeltrainmedia Just got the first teething steps done today. In other words: I put up the main supports for the yard sections. I’m hoping to start building the benchwork itself tomorrow.

This is my 4’x10′ HO layout that I’ve been working on for a couple of years. Excuse the mess around it…it shares space with my office/studio/workshop. It’s (extremely) loosely based on the town I live in in the late 1950s/early 1960s. It started as DC, but I added in DCC about 6 months ago and made it switchable between the two. Thanks for the idea, Oscar…I love seeing all these.

It’s still a rough runner because of reusing track, but layout 1 attempt 2 is moving along. The todo list is long, with “all the track in the middle” at the top of the list.
