A Western Pullman departs from the station in Somewhere.
These diesel Pullmans derived from the original Blue Pullmans that served the Midland region and were painted in “Nanking Blue”. Following the electrification of that region, they were moved to the BR Western Region and their livery was changed to the inverted blue/grey. They ran from 1960 to 1973 before being withdrawn. As twin power car units with one at either end, they were the predecessor to the later InterCity 125 trains. The model is by Graham Farish with both power cars being motorised, but only driving one bogie on each.
