We’re getting very close to a huge milestone—our first 500 members! With 455 users already on board, it won’t be long before we hit that number, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate it with all of you.

To thank everyone for joining and supporting Model Train Media, I’m launching a special giveaway with 25 prizes!

How the Giveaway Works

• All accounts will be entered into an online random wheel.
• The wheel will pick 25 winners completely at random.
• After the draw, I will check whether each winner has at least 30 points on their account.
• ✅ If they meet this requirement, they stay on the winners list.
• ❌ If not, I’ll spin the wheel again to select a new winner.
• Once the final 25 names are confirmed, I’ll share and pin the list of winners in the feed so everyone can see the results clearly.

The Prizes

• 13 Cash Prizes 💶
  Winners outside of Europe (especially in the U.S.) will receive a €30 cash prize to support their model railway. Because of strict regulations and import fees, it’s currently not practical to ship packages overseas. Instead, American winners will still get something valuable they can use to improve their layouts or buy something new for their hobby.
• 12 Model Train Prizes 🚂
  Winners within Europe will receive physical model train prizes, including accessories and locomotives. The top prize is a model train worth €300!

Why This Approach?

I want to be completely transparent: the entire giveaway—and the whole platform—is something I fund out of my own pocket. That’s why I’ve chosen what I believe is the fairest and most practical way to make sure winners around the world can enjoy their prize.

Because of strict regulations and import fees, it’s currently not practical to ship packages overseas, especially to the United States. For this giveaway, American winners will therefore get a cash prize, while European winners can receive model train packages.

For future giveaways, I’ll do my best to make cross-continental shipping possible so that everyone can get physical prizes no matter where they live.
