I got some switches in the mail today! Gaining traction on track laying for my layout! (Picture 2)
In a similar vein, I have some cars for sale (picture 1) for anyone interested. They just don’t fit my era and layout.

First attempt at weathering a wagon
As another hobby I like to do scale models, so i had some wheathering products at home. decided to bite the bullet and try it, after all i have like 6 or so of that car. Used AK Weathering pencils and water as per their online tutorial (and a brown wash on the bogies. what do you guys say?

Unoki lives!
The 1960s Jouef steel track cleaned up beautifully. Basic track rubber, methylated spirits and a wipe of Inox MX3 spray to keep it from corrosion (hopefully).
