A few doors up from work is the railway crossing. Here’s a shuttle steam excursion that ran up and down the line a few times couple years back. 2 K Class Locomotoves. Used for general service back in the day. And FYI. Most of the suburban system in Melbourne is broad-gauge.

I am Jon and I’m from the Atlanta area (Georgia, USA). I primarily model the C&O in WV, early 1950s transition era in N scale. My layout is about 16×16 feet (about 5m by 5m) plus a branch line yet to be built. Did Someone say stand alone portable NCE Power Cab?!?!
This is my collection traction I made by modifying one of my old power cab controllers. Runs if a 9 bolt battery.
Still has the plugs Retro fitted on the bottom of the controller so I can plug the factory NCE screw terminal which has alligator clips fitted so I can clip it to any track to…
