So I’ve finally decaling my new steam locomotive/character Eri, though, here are a few notes: I’m bad at decaling, like very bad, so don’t expect good work; secondly, I’ve lost the bell, so Eri is going to be bell-less until I’ve found another bell.

11 years ago, I acquired some secondhand ED75s in various states of running capability. One even turned out to be an original release Tomy product from the mid-1970s.
All six were ran, the 70s version reverting back to static display.

A picture of my first Hex-Trak module. It isn’t quite completed, it still needs people and maybe a couple of vehicles on it. But I think that it turned out pretty well for my first attempt. I learned a lot while working on it and it has given me the drive to do more with Hex-Trak and to get back into my T-Trak work.

Got supplies to build a custom DC controller today. The plan is for it to be able to power 3 isolated sections of track at once (the yard and both of the mainline loops will have a controller each). The individual controllers are rated for 48V, 20A and I’ll be running them at 12V, 3A max so they should be just fine.
