Just learned Kato is making new N scale TGV sets, scheduled for release in April 2026 – I am excited!
I have the old versions from … late 1990s/early 2000s (?), but they are annoying to convert to DCC. This new version is said to come with a NEM651 DCC connector and ready for the Kato interior lighting kit 11-211/11-212.

Got this Kato F7A for a birthday present and wanted to get passenger cars for it ever since. Its just too pretty a model to be wasted on freight. Mid-June I finally found some for a halfway decent price. I want to get another Kato 4-pack to have a 12-car train with an observation at some point, but for now the 8 cars will be just fine.
