Experiment
Before a room became available for a layout, which became Little Weldon. I started to create a minimum space 5′ x 3′ Hornby Dublo 3 rail layout. On this layout I first experimented with creating a scenic setting. It was on this that I discovered how effective sympathetically created scenery can actually enhance the appearance of the Dublo items.

DCC has arrived on the Magic City Sub
A few weeks back, I decided I was tired of running club equipment at the club layout and decided to get my own DCC stuff. Up to this point, all my locomotives were standard DC. That would soon change.

A signed and numbered print of the Milw. Rd. Varsity, a train from Chicago to Madison for football games in the 1960's.. The train ran down the tracks of a major street, stopping near the UW Stadium. People to this day walk the tracks sporting events at the UW.
