Just finished adding new handrails and horns to an old Athearn GP-9. Did a little detail painting and added numbers to the numberboards while I was at it. This model was originally just a shell, but now rides on a hobbytown drive.

Mocked up a little scene to run trains through, I think it turned out nice! I’m mostly just waiting, holding on to my money, for a train show in a couple weeks. Though, I did buy a modern plastic pellet hopper recently (car #1).

Ich war mal wieder in Mannheim, klassischer Messeauftakt für mich, aber schon im Vorfeld wurde eigentlich nur gestänkert und an Preisen rumgemäkelt. Aber ist das so oder hat der eine oder andere einfach nur völlig jeglichen Bezug zur Realität verloren?
